Weather & best time to visit

The sunniest and calmest months, with low humidity and temperatures around 28-30°C. January to March is the peak season - beautiful weather, but busier and more expensive.

Expect more rain and wind, usually as short tropical showers rather than all-day rain. Seas can be rougher and visibility lower, but prices are at their lowest and the island is quieter.

April and November are shoulder months that often mix good weather with better prices. The weather is less predictable than it used to be, so keep a day or two flexible for boat trips.
